Basic Conditions and Requirements
Dolomite is composed of calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which begin to decompose when the temperature of the hot air reaches the required level, generating calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, and carbon dioxide.
The chemical equation for the calcination of dolomite to produce calcium oxide and magnesium oxide is as follows:
CaCO3.MgCO3 → CaO MgO + 2CO2
Working Principle and Features:
The working principle of the cyclone dynamic calcination furnace system is to use natural gas as fuel for direct-fired heating. When the calcination temperature is reached inside the furnace, the dosing feeder will transport the powder material (dolomite dry powder) into the furnace, where it will mix with the high-temperature gas, rapidly exchanging heat and mass and rotating upwards for just a few seconds. The calcined calcium oxide -magnesium oxide composite material (CaOMgO) dry powder then enters the cyclone separator for gas-solid separation, and the separated powder product is discharged. The hot flue gas goes through the first, second, and third stage preheaters and then enters the homogenizer, preheating and homogenizing the dolomite dry powder. After preheating and homogenizing, the dolomite dry powder is separated by the cyclone separator and pulse bag dust collector, with the purified exhaust gas discharged by a high-pressure fan, while the preheated and homogenized dolomite powder re-enters the calcination furnace for further calcination.
Main features of the system:
1. Suitable for powder material calcination.
2. Reasonable setup and efficient energy utilization based on the characteristics of dolomite.
3. Uniform material heating, short calcination time, continuous operation, and controllable temperature.
4. Negative pressure operation, good sealing, no dust leakage, no pollution, and high product recovery rate.
5. Large specific surface area, no overburning or underburning, stable quality, and reduced labor intensity.
6. Meets environmental standards.
System Composition
The calcined powder production system consists of:
(1) Feeding system
(2) Calcination system
(3) Preheating and homogenization system
(4) Recovery system
(5) Cooling system
(6) Control system
Our company provides system design, equipment manufacturing, installation guidance, technical training, etc. The specific quotation will be provided after the system process is determined.
